BIOL 04238 Physiology Allied Health

The study of human physiological processes from the perspective of an allied health professional. Topics include muscle, nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, gastrointestinal, reproductive and endocrine physiology. Physiological responses to important medications and patient nutrient status will be emphasized. Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory per week. Prerequisites: 04-102/103 or 04-106/107, 24-112/113 or 25-114/115. (S)
