RAD 49405 Rad Bio & Rad Protect

Radiation Biology & Protection 405 This course will continue covering the fundamentals of basic radiation biology as well as basic radiation safety theory. Biology topics will include the fundamental principles of radiation biology, molecular and cellular radiobiology and the early and late effects of radiation. Radiation protection topics will include Health Physics practices, considerations for design of equipment and facilities, as well as procedures for ensuring the safety of radiation workers, patients, and members of the public.
