GEOG 32545 Principles of GIS

GIS is a powerful technology for managing and analyzing geographic data. This course provides students with the conceptual background including a rigorous study of fundamental geographic information systems principles, including the nature of spatial data, vector and raster data models, and key GIS analysis operations.
