CSIS 44457 Applied Cryptography

Cryptography is the primary tool used to protect information within digital communication systems. This course provides students with an in-depth understanding of the cryptographic tools and algorithms currently in use. We will discuss the benefits and limitations of these algorithms and learn how to securely use each in real-world applications. Prerequisites: CSIS 44356 and CSIS 44349, each with a minimum grade of C. (F,odd yrs)
