CSIS 44413 Visualization

The course covers the design and development of explanatory diagrams and graphics for varying data sets. This may include concepts such as Design of Charts and Graphs, Networks, Topological Graphs, Display of High Dimensional Data, Effective Use of Space and Color, Animations, Interactive Visualizations, Mapping, Cartography, Acquisition of Web Data, and advanced visualization tools. Tools used may include JavaScript, JQuery, D3.js and other JavaScript/JQuery frameworks, web servers, R, Python, etc. Prerequisites: MATH 17114 and CSIS 44241. (F)
