HIST 33680 Problems of Teaching Secondary Social Studies

An advanced professional course designed for teachers with experience, in which study and discussion are focused on selected problems peculiar to the social studies. Emphasis is placed on the teaching of controversial issues. Laboratory experience and the carrying out of a study project in an actual classroom situation will be required.
