MBA with Healthcare Management Emphasis
The Master’s degree in Business Administration gives students the diverse business background to advance their career in organizations across the evolving global business arena. This program enables students to develop their strengths for leadership as they study real-world business topics through extensive analyses and applications. The relevant curriculum will empower students with a thorough understanding of managerial accounting, managerial economics, financial management, strategic marketing, organizational behavior in administration, and more, enabling students to confidently make business decisions in a leadership position. Northwest's MBA program is accredited by the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
Program Admission Requirements
Applicants to the MBA program must meet the following requirements:
- Compliance with all of the eligibility requirements of the Graduate School.
- Acceptance to graduate study by the Dean of the Graduate School.
- Completion of a four-year undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with an undergraduate grade point average of 2.50 on a 4.00 scale, and one of the following:
- Three years of continuous professional full-time work experience
- Three years of continuous full-time United States enlisted or commissioned military service
- Graduate degree from a regionally accredited university with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
- A GMAT score of 440 or above
- An admission index of 1100 (undergraduate GPA x 200 + GMAT)
- A GRE score of 285 or above
- An admission index of 965 (undergraduate GPA x 200 +GRE)
- A 70th percentile on the Business Major Field Test score or above.
*Applicants to the MBA program who do not have a bachelor's degree in business are required to successfully complete the 54201: MBA Business Foundation course which is designed specifically for students who are new to business curriculum.
Comprehensive Examination
MBA candidates must take the ETS MBA-Major Field Test (ETS MBA-MFT) in the last semester of their program.
