NUTR 47558 Essentials of Nutrition

This course uses principles of biological sciences such as anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry to introduce the knowledge of nutrients and their chemical properties, requirements, resources, ingestion, digestion, absorption, regulation, transport, metabolism, function, interaction, storage, excretion, deficiencies, toxicities, and roles in human health and disease.
