A survey of the sociological, philosophical, historical and legal foundations of education with special emphasis on staffing patterns, multicultural needs, career opportunities, organizational patterns and school/community relations. Secondary students must be enrolled concurrently with EDUC 61-360, 520 and Content Methods the semester prior to student teaching. (F, S)
