GEOL 27360 Environmental Geology

A study of geology focusing on the inter-relationship between man and his environment and resulting impacts to the Earth's systems. Topics investigated include natural processes as hazards, man's impacts on earth resources as well as contemprary environmental issues. Three lecture hours and one two-hour laboratory session each week. Prerequisite: GEOL 27-110/111 or 114/115. (F)
