NUTR 47435 Pharm For The Dietician

This course focuses on the drug and nutrient interactions of common medications. Basic pharmacology concepts, nutrition and metabolism, drug interactions in nutrition support, dietary counseling to prevent food-drug interactions, and the role of ergogenic aids in sportrs nutrition will all be covered. This course is designed for dietitians. Prerequisite: NUTR 47-433.
