THEA 43316 Playwriting

Composition or original short plays, dramatic scenes and monologues. The course provides an examination of the elements, discipline and art of playwriting through analysis of established plays and creation of original short plays, dramatic scenes and monologues. Cross-listed as ENGL 10-316 Creative Writing: Playwriting. Prerequisites: ENGL 10-210 Introduction to Creative Writing or THEA 43-225 Oral Interpretation and Text Analysis or permission of instructor.
