MATH 17617 Combinatorics

Introduction to sets and their properties, functions, finite and infinite sets. Introductions to fundamental techniques in enumeration, discrete structures, and algorithms and optimization. Prerequisite: 18 hours of undergraduate mathematics; or consent of instructor. (Summer, second year)
