NURS 01401 Leadership and Management in Nursing

This course focuses on the importance of leadership and management for the BSN level nurse.  Emphasis is placed on the role of the nurse leader in various areas of health care.  This course is designed to provide the professional nurse with the essential information and key skills that nurses must learn to succeed in today’s health care environment.  Includes a clinical experience.  Prerequisites:  Acceptance to the RN to BSN program and NURS 01301, NURS 01302, NURS 01303, NURS 01311, NURS 01411, NURS 01454, and NURS 01481 with grades of C or better.
