GEOL 27520 Geology Field Trip (Adv)

(2 hours) An advanced version of the introductory field course, GEOL 520 combines basic field investigation with a short project that focuses on a feature of interest from the field trip area. Potential projects include thin section petrography and optical mineralogy, written descriptions of features of interest, reflective essays, or other projects as approved by the course instructor. Prerequisite: GEOL 27/212. Repeatable for new area of study. (F)
