Orientation and Academic Student Success
Orientation and Academic Student Success provides programs, information, and support to all new undergraduate students and their families. These programs includes Summer Orientation, Advisement, and Registration (SOAR) for first-time freshmen, new student orientation and registration for transfer and returning students, and Advantage, which is our welcome program for new undergraduates. We also provide support for students and the Northwest community through retention efforts such as the administration of the College Student Inventory and the management of Northwest Success 360. The office partners closely with many areas on campus to provide a cohesive and intentional first-year experience, as well as ongoing support to continuing students.
