Commencement
Degrees are conferred at the end of each term, and commencement exercises are held at the end of Spring and Fall terms. The graduation fee is assessed whether or not the student plans to participate in commencement exercises.
Students completing degree requirements in Summer have the option to participate in the preceding Spring or following Fall ceremonies. Those who wish to walk early in the preceding Spring must apply by March 15. Those who wish to walk in the following fall must apply by October 15. Participation in the graduation ceremony does not constitute conferral of degree.
Graduation honors for the commencement program will be determined prior to final term grades. (See “Honor Roll and Graduation Honors” section.)
