EDCI 62685 Considerations of Atypical Development
Through an exploration of research and learning theories, participants will consider how atypical development in one domain of functioning (e.g., language) or a medical condition can have implications on a student’s functioning in a seemingly unrelated developmental domain. The role and expertise of various school-based and community-based professionals will be explored while considering the value of interdisciplinary collaboration for assessment and intervention services. There are fieldwork requirements.
