RAD 49403 Medical Imaging III

This course includes all aspects of digital imaging acquisition and display. Included are topics regarding understanding of the components, principles and operation of digital imaging systems. Factors that impact image acquisition, display, archiving and retrieval are discussed. Guidelines for selecting exposure factors and evaluating images within the digital system assist students to bridge between film based and digital imaging systems. Prerequisite: RAD 49401 with a minimum grade of C.
