EDCI 62668 Academic Skills: Assessment for Intervention
This course examines best practices for using research and assessment to implement evidence-based interventions for students as part of a multi-tiered system of support or special education services. Instruction will include assessment of academic environments, curriculum-based measurement, diagnostic assessments, intervention planning, progress monitoring, and data-based decision making. Participants will learn about a variety of low-cost empirically validated interventions. There are fieldwork requirements. Prerequisite: EDCI 62638.
